Business Development Assistant

The business development assistant provides support to business development team to ensure qualitatively delivery of Edniche’s services to clients, towards ensuring that potential and existing clients remain satisfied.

The duties involve contributing to delivery of service, coordination of other members of staff, and making plans towards achieving Edniche’s goals and ideals. Your roles in business development activities are simply immeasurable.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • The go-to person for all front-office related tasks; directly responsible for the daily operation of the front office team and other logistical matters with the aim to drive business growth through ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Maintain and oversee the student database on a regular basis (daily, weekly and monthly) and initiate corrective actions as and when appropriate
  • Communicate precise information or change to Front Office team in order to facilitate processing of customer rate enquires
  • Ensure that Front Office team is informed in a timely manner of any changes in the policy or study programs
  • Communicate frequently with the students as required to establish a trusting relationship that maximizes the opportunity to extend the length of services provided
  • Assist the business development manager in developing a customer service approach that is student-centric ensuring response times to customers are continuously being reduced
  • Assist the business development manager in developing and implementing customized sales strategies in conjunction with Front office team
  • Assist the business development manager in identifying and managing risks
  • Collaborate with the management team on sale goals, planning, forecasting, maintaining short and long-term business development plan
  • Take part in organizing and implementing academic and annual school events
  • Able to handle problems and creative positive solutions to deal with students and parents
  • Foster a positive collaboration culture within the front office department which promotes continuous improvement and the development of staff
  • Liaise across departments within the school to promote open communication
  • Perform other duties as may be required by the management team

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred though students in their 4th year are encouraged to apply
  • Good command usage of English for communication
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Good interpersonal skills with strong commitment to education
  • Experiences in project management or sales and knowledge of productivity tools is a plus
  • Possesses a confident, energetic, outgoing and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work independently and as an active member of the team
  • Ability to manage multi-task in a timely manner
